Heber City Cemetery Bypass Project

Notice of Public Hearing and Comment Period

Heber City, in coordination with the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), has prepared an environmental study to evaluate the construction of a new road (900 North) located north of the Heber City Cemetery between 550 East and Mill Road. The new roadway will accommodate future growth and ultimately create a connection from north US-40 to Center Street.

The draft environmental study is available for public comment at heberut.gov. Hard copies of the document and comment forms are available at Heber City Hall (75 North Main Street, Heber City, UT 84032). 

Public Hearing

An in-person Public Hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at J.R. Smith Elementary School (235 East 500 North, Heber City, UT 84032). The information presented at the hearing will focus on the environmental review and findings. 

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), individuals needing special accommodations (including auxiliary communicative aids and services) or language translation services during this meeting should notify the project team five days in advance at the contact information provided below. Comment Period

Formal comments regarding this project must be received or postmarked by 11:59 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, and can be submitted using any of the methods listed below.
