Responsibilities

The Board of Adjustment acts in a quasi-judicial manner in hearing appeals from the city's land use decisions and hears and decides requests for variances from the terms of land use ordinances. The board meets at the City Administrative Offices at 6:00 p.m. on the third Thursday of every month and on an as-needed basis. The term of office for a Board of Adjustment member is five years. Members must reside in Heber City.
