Section 18.08.010 Generally.

A. It is the intent of the city council to define certain words and phrases as a means of facilitating understanding of terms which may not be universally understood in the sense that the city council intends that they should be understood.

B. Words used in the present tense include the future, the singular includes the plural and the plural the singular. (Ord. 199 §02.0501, 1973)
